The most complex edition to date, 2016 is third bottling in the John Walker & Sons Private Collection series, continuing the themes of the incredibly limited Directors' Collection and offering these small batch editions of Johnnie Walker to a wider audience. This new version has been created using three key Speyside malts, Blair Athol, Cardhu and Strathmill, matured in a combination of bourbon barrels, rum and scotch Caribbean.

Production was seized just a couple of years later, and that’s more or less all we’re able to tell about this illusive Scotch.
