Two variants of Johnnie Walker ‘Gold Label‘ now co-exist under the ‘Reserve’ and ‘Centenary Blend’ labels, with the latter now discontinued, and a rarity on the market. Like other products in the Johnnie Walker range, a degree of confusion surrounds their exact contents.
We can tell you that the Centenary blend is a limited release to commemorate the first 100 years of Johnnie Walker. It’s a blend of fifteen different whiskies including Clynelish and Cardhu, aged for a minimum of 18 years.
JOHN WALKER 28 YEAR BICENTENARY 75CL
A complex, rich whisky with layers of flavour in which an array of fruit aromas come together in harmony, balanced with warming spices and a soft, rolling smoke redolent of the rich array of exotic goods on offer. Dried fruit such as sultanas and figs are sweetened by hints of candied ginger, before berries, brown sugar and aromatic spices fill up the senses.

Relaxed and easy-going. Tingling layers of exotic fruits, sweetness and spice. Finished in whisky casks conditioned by maturing Caribbean pot still rum. Johnnie Walker Black Label Air ink Warsaw 70CL
Six cities are represented by individual bottles in the range, and only 2,500 bottles per city will be available to purchase between July to September this year. The cities comprise: Mexico City, New Delhi, Warsaw, Bangkok, Istanbul and Madrid.The Keep Walking City collection was made in partnership with Air-Ink, a brand that creates ink by condensing carbon-based gaseous effluents generated by air pollution.
