Building from the predecessors “Johnnie Walker Blue Label” and “King George V”, this blend takes the idea of hand selection of extraordinary casks, and takes that to new levels of rarity and craft. Every care has been made to recreate the authentic flavours of a 19th Century blend in John Walker’s original style and the whisky has been taken from a range of distilleries, some of which are now closed; making this whisky quite literally priceless.
The John Walker is the ultimate luxury gift for any discerning gentleman. Encasing the gift is a hand crafted lacquer cabinet with over 60 hours of workmanship used to create the eleven layers of lacquer and luxurious cream leather interior. Inside, the taste of The John Walker whisky starts in sophisticated fashion with the richness of mature fruits slowly following from the more youthful aromas of fresh citrus. A complex, rich whisky with layers of flavour in which an array of fruit aromas come together in harmony, balanced with warming spices and a soft, rolling smoke redolent of the rich array of exotic goods on offer. Dried fruit such as sultanas and figs are sweetened by hints of candied ginger, before berries, brown sugar and aromatic spices fill up the senses.

There's a brand-new Johnnie Walker Red Label Bottle that's been introduced to coincide with the new season of Netflix's Money Heist (also known as La Casa de Papel) and it has a design that includes hidden messages. To mark the finale of the show, which happens in December, the brand created a special Scotch whisky bottle design that puts a twist on the classic Striding Man branding.When viewed in UV light, the bottle shares some of the last words of the show's main characters. Other "Ghosts" rearing their welcome heads from the annals of whisky history is malt from lost Speyside distillery Pittyvaich, and Cambus grain, which closed in 2002 and 1993 respectively. Given that Brora shut it's doors in 1983, were talking about whisky that was distilled at least 34 years ago!
