A limited-edition release of Macallan 12 Year Old Double Cask, with a gift tin featuring a photograph of a cask by Magnum photographer Alex Soth. Double Cask brings together two distinct styles of whisky from the distillery: American-oak sherry casks and European-oak sherry casks. The combination digs into the flavour profile of both different types of wood – bring a range of spice and fruity flavours – as well as rich sherry character.

The most complex edition to date, 2016 is third bottling in the John Walker & Sons Private Collection series, continuing the themes of the incredibly limited Directors' Collection and offering these small batch editions of Johnnie Walker to a wider audience. The first whisky in Macallan's limited-edition Editions series, No. 1 is a combination of whiskies matured in European and American oak casks. Aromas of mocha, brown sugar, spicy ginger and oak fill the nose, while the palate offers notes of raisins, dried citrus peel, dark chocolate and vegetal oak.
